I’m Jennifer Shaffer and I was born and raised in America’s Heartland.
After I graduated from High School, I wanted to get out of the “boring”
Midwest
and spent several years in the South and on the West Coast. But after
having a child, I just couldn’t think of a better place to grow up than
the Midwest!
The Heartland is America’s
breadbasket. Summer days are spent eating blackberries right off the
bushes for breakfast and frolicking in the many streams and creeks.
Winter days are spent building snow forts and warming up with hot
chocolate and fresh baked bread. Really, what more could a kid ask
for?
